Have you seen a Little Free Library while out and about in your community? Already have one that you’re a steward of? Looking to get involved or just want to share your love for reading? If so, you’ll want to check out the Free Little Library website to learn all about their organization.
You can start your own Little Free Library by building your own or buying a pre-made one from them. It will need to be registered. You will become the steward of that little library. They have some really neat designs that you can purchase to get started. I recommend that you watch the Getting Started Video on their website.
If you don’t have time to be a steward…you can still participate! Drop off your no longer needed books to library located near you. You can drop off books and/or take books to read. You’ll find thousands of them across the nation and around the world. There’s a library locator on their website that you can use or download their mobile app.
This is a great program to help instill the love of reading to everyone in your community.
