Into gardening but limited on space? If so, you may want to give container gardening a try. Every year we plant one large garden in our backyard along with 2 raised garden beds. In the past those raised garden beds were made out of wood and would only last 1-2 growing seasons. They seem to warp and decay pretty fast.

Last year we invested in two Galvanized Raised Garden Metal Planter Boxes and are really pleased with how well they’ve held up to the weather. There’s been no rusting, no decay, rotting or anything. They look as good this year as last year! They’re a little more pricier than wood platform boxes but they don’t require the upkeep and care like wood. In my honest opinion, they’re easier in regards to care and just look a whole lot nicer!
The Galvanized Raised Garden Beds come in various shapes and sizes. We went with large oval shaped planter boxes…if you can call them boxes…they’re large gardening containers! We placed rocks and pebbles in the bottom to provide a little bit of a drainage system and then filled them with topsoil that we purchased.
What are we using them for? Well, I’m going to tell you.
We planted strawberries in one and we do lettuce and herbs in the other one. We had issues in the past with critters destroying those specific items in our garden…so now that we are growing in containers and platforms they can no longer get into the. Yeah! A win for us!
