Elegear Cooling Comforter Blanket for Hot Sleepers

As I’ve gotten older my sleep habits have changed. When I was younger I needed less sleep, could sleep almost anywhere and had no problem getting to or staying asleep. Fast forward to now. I’m in my 60’s and have issues getting to sleep, staying asleep and I need at least 6-8 hours of sleep every night. Things have really changed.

My family doctor recommended that I keep a sleep journal for 4 weeks to see if we could pin down some of the problems that I was having with sleep. Well guess what? I’m a hot sleeper and realized that I was often waking up during the night over-heating and sweating. Sometimes I would sweat so much that I had to get out of bed and change my clothes. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Two weeks ago I decided to try the Elegear Cooling Comforter Blanket that is made for hot sleepers. It’s a light-weight blanket or comforter. When you run your hand over the fabrication it feels silky-smooth and cool to the touch. It’s double-sided…so you have a cotton side and a arc-chill technology side. What is Arc-Chill Technology? This technology allows you to feel cooler while sleeping and is 12x more breathable than cotton. The comforter/blanket has the cooling side with Arc-Chill technology, then there’s Jade Particles which are rich minerals that can help promote metabolism and relieve fatigue. The Dacron layer is antibacterial and anti – dust mite. The other side of the blanket is made out of ultra-soft washed cotton. Both sides feel great against bare skin.

One of the very cool things about this comforter blanket is that it’s for year-round use. You can use the cooler side during the hot months of the year and the cotton side during the cooler months of the year. No need to invest in separate bedding for each season. 

Let’s talk about the easy care! Due to it’s construction it fits nicely into your washing machine at home. There’s no need to lug it to a laundry mat where they have bigger machines. This will fit nicely into your washing machine at home. It doesn’t get all bunched up or knock your washing machine off-balance during the laundering process. When it comes to drying…hang it up to air dry naturally. I love when you can find easy care bedding!

I think the Elegear Cooling Comforter Blanket is great for at-home use and I think it’s a must-have if you have an RV or go camping. It doesn’t take up a lot of space like a traditional fiber-fill comforter. It comes in various sizes twin, queen and king along with beautiful color options.
