Baked Hamburger Patties with Mushroom Gravy Recipe

May 27, 2025 by Classystaff

These baked Hamburger Patties with Mushroom Gravy make a great weeknight dinner when you don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. You can pre-make the burger patties ahead of time and refrigerate until needed. Then toss everything together, bake for 40-45 minutes and dinner is done. My grandchildren love eating this for dinner.

The basic recipe is below but you can certainly add some additional things…like finely chopped onions, minced garlic and freshly sliced mushrooms. I will add them when I have them on hand.  See below the recipe for some serving suggestions.

Baked Hamburger Patties with Mushroom Gravy Recipe

1 lb. lean ground beef
5-6 Tbsp. Italian Seasoned Dry Bread Crumbs
1 tsp. Selefina Italian Seasoning Blend
1 can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 to 3/4 can Milk
 1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Ground Black Pepper

Place the lean ground beef in a bowl. Add-in the Italian Dry Seasoned Bread Crumbs, Italian Seasoning Blend, salt and ground black pepper. Mix everything together using your hands. You want to form 4-6 hamburger patties. Place them into the bottom of a glass baking dish.

Pour the Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup into a bowl. Add a 1/2 to 3/4 can of milk to the soup mixture. Stir to combine the two together. This is the gravy…pour it over the top of the burger patties in the baking dish.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place the baking dish into a preheated oven. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the center of the patties are no longer pink. You want the meat to be thoroughly cooked. Once done…remove and serve immediately.

Refrigerate any leftovers in a refrigerator-safe container for 3-4 days. This reheats well in the microwave oven…about 2 minutes to reheat it through. For something difference you can serve it over-the-top of mashed potatoes, rice or pasta noodles.
