Vera Bradley Crossbody Bag – Perfect for Travel
My husband and I do a lot of traveling…especially road trips across America. We like to get into the car and just go! Traveling by car is the BEST WAY to see what America has to offer. From the coastlines to the mountains, from big cities to the small country towns. We’re all about domestic travel and supporting our fellow American citizens.

One thing that I hate when I’m traveling is dragging around a large and heavy handbag. I’m in my mid 50’s and I can’t stand having a heavy bag hanging on my shoulders or back. Nope…I’m done with that! I’ve been on the hunt for the past few weeks looking for a light-weight handbag that would allow me to be hands-free. Not only that…it needed compartments to help me stay organized while I’m on-the-go.
Well, I finally found the perfect bag for me! I picked up a Vera Bradley Crossbody Bag at a bargain price! I just happened to walk into a little boutique that had found inventory in their warehouse that was several years old. All of it was new…but older! The items were in perfect, unused condition too. I was able to get the Vera Bradley Crossbody Bag that is shown in my photograph for only $8.00. Yes, you read that correctly. Wow, what a deal!
It has several compartments inside and out! It’s large enough to hold my passport, wallet, eyeglasses, sunglasses, a mini pack of facial tissues, keys, breath mints, etc. Just the things I need when I’m out running around or exploring our great country. It doesn’t hold the kitchen sink! As an added bonus, if I get it dirty…I can toss it into my washing machine and hang it up to dry. You can’t do that with the majority of handbags and purses that are out in the retail marketplace!
If you’re looking for a new bag for when you’re out running errands or going to be out traveling…take a look at Vera Bradley for light-weight and affordable handbags!
