I enjoy using laundry scent boosters in our household laundry. However, I’m picky about which brands I use, the fragrances and how I use them. Personally, I don’t like walking around wearing scented clothing. With that said, I like using them when washing our household linens and other household items. I like to fragrance to be light and not over-powering.

In the past I was purchasing 2 specific brands which can be a bit on the pricey side. When I was in Dollar General last month I picked up their Trueliving brand to give that a try. You’ll want to look for the Trueliving Scent Booster in the laundry product aisle. It comes in a few different fragrances. I’ve been using the Midnight Bliss.
From the first time I started using it…I fell in-love with it. The perfect fragrance for me! It smells so good…refreshing and light.
The directions are on the bottle on how to use it and how much to use. Honestly, I use a lot less than what they recommend which works perfectly for me. I toss them into the washing machine as it’s filling up along with my liquid laundry detergent which I also purchase from Dollar General. Easy to use…gotta love that! They dissolve completely during the laundering process.
After laundering I toss our household items into the dryer or hang them outside to dry (depending on the time of the year). When using the dryer, I never use high heat (that breaks down the fiber of your clothing)…I use low to medium heat and never dry items for longer than necessary. This will extend the life of your items!!! Always wash your under-clothing and delicates in mesh laundry bags too!
Anyway, after the items are dry they smell so good! Again, not an over-powering fragrance. They’re soft too! I find that I don’t need to use any dryer sheets and the items never have any static cling. The family loves having their bed and bath linens laundered with these scent booster beads!!!
