Along the Wildwood Boardwalk you’ll find numerous video arcades. The majority of them have the same type of games offering the same type of prizes. You’ll find them along the entire stretch of the boardwalk from end to end. I think I’ve been in all of them at one time or another.
With that said…my favorite one is Gateway 26 located right on the boardwalk on the corner of 26th street. It’s the biggest and offers the most variety. From classic video games…to the new ones, slot machines, racing, skee-ball, claw machines and everything in between. Their prizes are reasonable too…from .25 cents and up per play.
My grandchildren love when we visit the video arcade. Like any good grandparent they’re given a budget on how much they can spend. They have to stay with me and aren’t allowed to run all over the place like some of the other kids do. I believe parents need to keep their kids with them…especially in a big place like this that often gets crowded with people.
Gateway 26 has dozens of different Claw Machines. They’re a big hit with this family and we love playing them. Luckily for me…I’m pretty good at them and always seem to get each grandchild a prize before we leave. If you love Claw Machines…Gateway 26 is definitely the place you want to be!
