Happy Easter 2025

This year Easter is during the month of April. On some years it will actually fall on our wedding anniversary which is also during the month of April. When it comes to the Easter holiday I really like it falling late in March or early the following month. Regardless, it’s here!

We wanted to take a few minutes today to wish you all a HAPPY EASTER! We hope you enjoy the holiday with your loved ones. We will be co-hosting Easter dinner with our adult daughter which is really nice. I only have to do half of the cooking while she does half of the cooking and all of the clean-up!  Yay me!

Yesterday I hosted a little Easter Egg (oh, I mean seashell) hunt for the kids in our family. I painted seashells in fun Easter designs and hid them throughout the back yard along with plastic Easter eggs. On the underside of each painted seashell I had a number. After the shell (egg) hunt they were able to keep the painted seashell and got the corresponding prize that went along with that number. The kids really enjoyed my take on a traditional Easter Egg Hunt!

When it comes to Easter candy…what are some of your favorites? I love dark chocolate (just about anything) but do admit…I have a little addiction to marshmallow PEEPS and Cadbury Creme Eggs. How about you?
