This year we spent the Easter holiday down at the beach in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Our family goes down several times a year and love the area. This was the first time that we spent Easter down at the beach. Wow…did our family have fun!
North Wildwood and Wildwood had all kinds of family-friendly Easter activities going on. There were multiple easter egg hunts out on the beach, a few held at local parks, Easter bunny was all over the island to great the kids, local restaurants had holiday meal specials, stores had special sales going on and all sorts of other things.
Usually when we go down in April we avoid the Easter holiday. The island usually isn’t overly-busy with tourists yet. Well, this time it was different! The island was packed by locals and tourists all out enjoying the nice weather and Easter activities. There were thousands of people all over the boardwalk and hundreds standing in line for the big Easter Egg hunt!
We had a great time over the Easter holiday and already planning to spend the Easter holiday next year down in North Wildwood too! April is a great time for a family vacation to the beach! It was nice to get outside and into the fresh air again…after being cooped up throughout the winter. Yay! Spring is here!!!
