Sweet and Savory Pork Chops Seasoning Blend Recipe

March 20, 2025 by Classystaff

We make pork chops at least once for dinner every 2 weeks. To keep things fresh and interesting…we’re always trying out new recipes. Last month I decided to mix up our own seasoning blend for pork chops. I recommend that you mix everything together in a small bowl and store it in a spice container or zipper closure bag. You can easily double-up or triple-up the ingredients. Omit the ones you don’t like and increase the ones that you do. The recipe is very versatile!

Before I get to the recipe I want to introduce you to Selefina, the spice shop through Adagio Teas. Selefina sells your classic spices like parsley and oregano…along with chili powder, crystallized ginger root, Cacao nibs, and everything in between. You can purchase samples sizes, regular sizes, refills, and empty spice jars if you need those! High quality, fresh spices and seasonings shipped straight to your door.

For this recipe I used primarily Selefina products: Paprika, Black Pepper, White Peppercorn, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Honey Powder and Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend. You can find all of them on the Selefina website.

Sweet and Savory Pork Chop Seasoning Blend Recipe

1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. ground white peppercorn
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. honey powder
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning blend

Place all of the above ingredients into a small mixing bowl. Use a spoon to stir everything together. Pour the seasoning blend into an empty spice container.

When ready to use…simply shake the desired amount of Pork Chop Seasoning Blend out of the spice container on each side of the pork chop. You can then pan-fry, bake or grill them until done. Always make sure your meat is thoroughly cooked (inside) before eating it.
