My wife and I always stop by Sunset Lake Park when we’re visiting North Wildwood. It’s the best place on the entire island to catch a beautiful sunset. There’s a gazebo you can sit in or various park benches along the water front. There’s a paved sidewalk that you can walk on and a few nearby FREE parking spaces if you choose to drive there.

It’s a very scenic and relaxing place to visit. When we’re there we often see visitors and locals walking their dogs (on leash). Throughout the year they hold various events there. During the holiday season they hang up beautiful holiday lights. It’s located in a residential area, so please be respectful when you’re visiting. In addition, during the warmer months of the year you’ll often see turtles up on the banks, sidewalks and crossing the road. Please drive carefully when driving through this area.
