Love Them or Hate Them – Mobile Food Trucks
How many of you enjoy grabbing a bite to eat from time to time from a Mobile Food Truck? In central Pennsylvania, mobile food trucks are big business! You find them at all of the local festivals, street fairs, winery events, parks, at some shopping centers, carnivals, concert venues, etc. They seem to be everywhere!
You can find all kinds of different type’s of food: Mexican, Chinese, American, Indian cuisine, etc. Everything from seafood to burgers, appetizers to ice cream. Heck, we saw one last weekend that offered beer from a local craft beer brewery. All of them are owned and operated by local businessmen and women.
For the most part I don’t mind them but I don’t get food from them every day. We only buy something when we’re attending an event and if it’s something we want to try. For example, we had delicious lobster rolls from a food truck last month and they were 5-star restaurant worthy. There have been times that the food we’ve gotten has been awful. It’s a hit or miss type of thing.
So, my question is this. Do you love or hate mobile food trucks?
