Every year I look forward to the time that the Girl Scouts are selling their world-famous cookies! I grew up participating in the Girl Scouts and did 12 years with them. Now that I’m a mother, I’m proud to say that my 15 year old daughter has been a Girl Scout since age 5. I think it’s a great organization that teaches girls all kinds of valuable things that they can use throughout their lifetimes.
One thing I always look forward to is the cookie fundraiser. My daughter has no problem obtaining orders for those delicous cookies!!! I admit, I buy like 12 boxes and toss most of them into the freezer so that we can enjoy them throughout the year. Yes, you can freeze your cookies!!!
In our household everyone seems to have a different favorite. Me and my daughter like the Tagalongs and Do-Si-Dos. My husband is all about the classic Thin Mints. My son isn’t picky and will eat them all. I do like that the Girl Scouts will experiment with new flavors from time to time while keeping our classic favorites there for us to enjoy.
