We have 6-7 red raspberry bushes in our backyard. Every year when the raspberries are in-season I harvest them for our family to enjoy. I get a lot of berries from those bushes…so I freeze some to make fruit smoothies throughout the year. This Raspberry Fruit Smoothie is easy-to-make and you only need a handful of ingredients to make it. If you want to BUMP UP the nutritional value…substitute Manuka Honey for the regular honey called for in the recipe.
Raspberry Fruit Smoothie Recipe
1 cup frozen red raspberries
1 cup milk (regular, coconut or almond milk)
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
2 ice cubes
Place all of the above ingredients into a blender container. Blend until the fruit smoothie is of your desired consistency. Serve immediately.
If you want to serve it in a chilled glass…place the glass into the freezer for 30 minutes before you prepare the recipe. You can garnish the smoothie with raspberries if desired.
