This green apple and banana fruit smoothie is perfect to enjoy at breakfast, as a snack or as a post-workout treat. It’s easy to make and tastes delicious! If you want to bump-up the health benefits substitute Manuka Honey for the regular honey. If you want to increase the calcium you can toss in 1/4 cup of whole milk. We like our smoothies served in chilled glasses…just place the glass into the freezer for 30-45 minutes before mixing up the ingredients.

Green Apple and Banana Fruit Smoothie Recipe
1 Green Apple (Peeled, Cored and Chopped)
1/2 Banana
1 cup Vanilla Yogurt
1 Tbsp. Honey (see note above)
2-3 Ice Cubes
Milk (optional)
Place the chopped green apple, halved banana, vanilla yogurt and honey into a blender container. Blend until smooth. Toss in 2-3 ice cubes. Blend until it’s the desired consistency. Serve immediately.
