A few weeks ago we reviewed and featured the BlitzHome Vacuum Sealer System on the TCC blog. You can check out our previous post to learn more about that. Today, we’re going to feature the BLITZHOME Sous Vide Slow Cooker Machine that we had the pleasure of reviewing. I have to admit, this was my first experience in using one…so I had a little bit of a learning curve! Don’t worry though, it comes with a user’s manual to help you get started.

The BLITZHOME Sous Vide Slow Cooker Machine came in a bundle along with the Vacuum Sealer. You can find that bundle for sale over on Amazon for a really affordable price. If you’re a newbie like me to Sous Vide Slow Cooking you’ll find great info in the user’s manual which includes:
Functions and Operations, How to do the Settings, how to set up the WiFi function operation of the slow cooker, how to clean and maintain it, cautions, troubleshooting, etc. I suggest you read through it completely before you get started. Let’s talk about some of the features and functions.
* Waterproof
* Dry-Boil Protection
* Low Water Reminder
* Leakage Protection
* Made out of 304 Stainless Steel
* 1100 W
* Touch Controls
* Large Easy-to-Read Display
* Precise Temperature and Time Controls
We decided to test it out making seasoned pork chops. We seasoned the pork chops and then vacuum sealed them. Tossed into the refrigerator overnight to allow all of that goodness to infuse into the meat. The bags that came with the vacuum sealer allow you to boil and cook right in the bag! We filled up the pot with water and got it boiling.
The Sous Vide Slow Cooker securely attaches to the side of YOUR cooking vessel. I used a stockpot. You then set the temperature and time controls. It’s all on-board of the slow cooker (wand). My husband dropped in the seasoned pork chops (still in the sealed) bag and they started cooking. We did all of this in a large stockpot sitting on our kitchen counter…not on our stove-top! I think this is great for tailgaiting, RVs, camping and so forth.
I was really amazed at how quiet it was. Seriously, you could take a nap…it’s QUIET! For a newbie like myself…this is a great one to get started with. Not a newbie? Don’t worry, it’s great for experienced cooks too. It has all of the bells and whistles you would want with a Sous Vide Slow Cooker. Now that we’ve tried it…we’re looking forward to making more delicious food using it. Once you get connected with their app you’ll get some FREE recipes to help you get started.
You can purchase the BlitzHome Sous Vide Slow Cooker and Vacuum Sealer Bundle directly from Amazon for a really great price.
