Romeo’s Two Favorite Cat Treats

Romeo's Two Favorite Cat TreatsOur boy Romeo is really picky about the food that he eats. That includes his cat treats. He likes wet food with a lot of broth or liquid and when it comes to his treats…they’ve got to be soft. He won’t touch hard-as-a-rock cat treats! He’s a big boy but not overweight. We try to keep him as healthy that we can. Feeding your furry friend healthy cat food and treats is important and something that shouldn’t be over-looked.

Neat Treats Cat Treats by Vet One

One of Romeo’s favorite soft cat treats are made by Vet One and are called Neat Treats. They’re high protein and gluten free. Made with real chicken, veterinarian endorsed and are bite-sized. They’re a “healthier” cat treat due to the high protein and low fat. They’re made by combining real chicken, potato flour and molasses, plus added taurine to support heart and eye health. These are cat treats, not food!

So, where do we purchase them? We buy them from our veterinarian’s office. Make sure you ask your vet for them. They’re not expensive either!

Hartz Delectables Squeeze Up Cat Treats

His second favorite cat treats are the Hartz Delectables Squeeze Up Lickable Cat Treats. They come in a variety of different flavors. To keep things interesting for him we buy the variety pack which includes the chicken, tuna and the tuna & shrimp flavors. They’re America’s #1 wet cat treat. Cats go crazy for it….at least Romeo does!

The Hartz Delectables don’t contain any fillers, no grains, no added by-products and contain no added preservatives or colors. Each treat provides up to 90% moisture, so a great way to help your pet stay hydrated especially during the hot summer months. If you have a cat that is 10+ years old, they offer special pack just for felines in that specific age group. Yes, their dietary needs are different!

Hartz Delectables Squeeze Up Lickable Wet Cat Treats

We use cat treats in our home to reward good behavior and to supplement his food. Your cat should never rely on treats for their daily caloric needs. As always, you should talk to your vet about your cat’s specific needs.
