My family enjoys snacking on Chex Party Mix. They have several different flavors that they like, so we’re always rotating around the recipes that we make. Today…I wanted to share with you the Original Chex Party Mix Recipe that you can print directly from the Chex website. It’s below too with my variations.

First…My children don’t like the garlic-flavored bagel chips. Instead, I substitute with original Gold Fish Crackers. Next, Sometimes I don’t buy all 3 different varieties of Chex cereal that’s called for in the recipe. Sometimes I just use two varieties. Just make sure you have enough cereal to equal what’s called for in the recipe which is 9 total cups. Finally, I don’t use mixed nuts. My children only like salted peanuts, so that’s what I use. When I have those mini dehydrated marshmallows on-hand, I’ll often throw in a handful of those when I’m mixing it all up.
Original Chex Party Mix Recipe

3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup bite-size pretzels
1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chips, broken into 1-inch pieces
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in an airtight container.
** Note – It’s important to store it properly in an airtight container to keep it fresher, longer. I like to store it in a large Lock & Lock Food Storage Container.
