Hartz Just for Cats Running Rodent Cat Toy

November 12, 2024 by Sam H.

Our boy Romeo loves animated toys that move, making noises or challenge him in some way. The kitty toys don’t have to be expensive…just fun for him to play with. If they can hold his attention for more than 15 months and if he’s still playing with it after a week, I consider that to be a winning success!

Hartz Just for Cats Running Rodent Cat Toy

I purchased Romeo the Hartz Just for Cats Running Rodent Cat Toy from Amazon and it’s a real winner! This is one toy that is perfect for cats of all ages. It helps them to learn to swat, chase, pounce and hunt. They’re natural born hunters and for good health you should be providing toys that enrich that instinct.

Inside the fluffy rodent is catnip which helps to stimulate the senses. However, the real action is within the tail. You pull the tail and the mouse starts running. Not only does it run across the floor but it vibrates which similates that action of a real rodent. Hunting and playing are great stress relievers for our furry friends and gives them physical exercise which they need to remain healthy.

Romeo just loves this toy and will play with it a few times a day. He’ll play with it for about 10-15 minutes at a time. Cat’s have short attention spans, so this is great! It’s giving him something to do and stimulating his natural instincts to hunt and play. It’s one of the best cat toy investments that I’ve made in a long time. Oh, guess what? It’s not expensive! I picked it up from Amazon for less than ten bucks!
