Halloween Ghost Made from Upcycled Plastic Bottle – Kid’s Craft Project

Looking for a super easy Halloween craft project that doesn’t cost you any money? Well, it won’t cost you a thing if you have a large plastic bottle lying around! My 14 year old granddaughter came up with this idea after seeing an empty white vinegar plastic bottle sitting to go out to our recycling bin. She’s creative like her grandmother!

Halloween Ghost Made from Upcycled Plastic Bottle

To get started…wash out the empty plastic bottle and remove the paper label. The bottle should be opaque white in color. It needs to be completely DRY before adding the facial features. You can use a black Sharpie Marker or black acrylic paint pens. Whatever you have on hand to make the oval shaped eyes and round shaped mouth. She kept it plain…but you could certainly make a fancier ghost!

Empty plastic bottles can be blown away with the windy weather so we filled it up with tap water to the top. Placed the cap back on. It’s now nice and weighty!

I placed the one that she made for me on the side of a step coming up to my front porch with one of my black seashell spiders that I had made. You can find complete instructions on how to make them right here on the TCC blog. Another easy Halloween craft project!
