Easy Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe for Cupcakes
8 ounces block of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened (not margarine)
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
4 cups confectioner’s 10X powdered sugar
In a large mixing bowl beat together the cream cheese, butter and pure vanilla extract using an electric hand mixer until light and creamy. Takes 2-3 minutes at most. Gradually beat in the confectioners’ 10X powdered sugar until smooth. The frosting should be creamy and spreadable. Use immediately.
