The Princess has been using Milk_Shake Cold Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner for the past 10 days and has fallen in love with it. The shampoo has special blue pigments that counteract red and orange tones and remove unwanted warm tones. Natural brunettes or color-treated hair brunettes can both use it.
Don’t be alarmed when you apply the shampoo. It will be blue tinted. It doesn’t stain your shower or skin at all. The Princess washes her hair almost daily. She has long, thick, wavy hair. She uses about a nickel-sized amount each time she washes it. Massages it all through her hair and leaves it in for 2-3 minutes while she’s shaving. She then rinses it out and applies a nickel-sized amount of the conditioner. Leaves that in for 2-3 minutes and then rinses it out. A very easy process, especially for a 15 year old who doesn’t want bothered with anything complicated! After showering she towel dries her hair.
The first thing she noticed is how easy it was to brush and comb out her hair. She didn’t have to tug-on-it to get any tangles out. She spends about 4 minutes blow drying it…just enough to get a little bit of the moisture out and then lets it primarily air dry. She’s not big on using heat tools that damage hair, so she’s big on air drying. She loves how shiny her hair has become and all of the weird brassy-tones are gone! She said it’s now soft and easier to manage with a lot less frizziness too! All a win-win in her book.
