Our grandchildren love visiting different neighborhood playgrounds and exploring them. These days you can find some really nice ones with all kinds of different apparatus for the kids to play on. From jungle gyms, climbing bars, mini rock climbing walls, swings, sliding boards, ride-on toys, tire swings, climbing ropes, obstacle courses and so much more!
When we’re down at the beach house the grandkids love to visit the Beachfront Playground in North Wildwood, New Jersey. It’s right up on the beach and all of the activities are spread out, so that the kids aren’t ontop of one another. Plenty of room to run and play.
There are benches for the parents and grandparents to sit on while the kids play. You’ll find public restrooms (open during the summer season) with running water & toilets (not porta potties). Always nice to sit on a bench listening to the Atlantic Ocean while the kids are playing. As always…keep an eye on your kids when they’re out in public places! We always talk to them about Stranger Danger before visiting a public venue.
If you’re going to be in the Wildwood area and have children…this is one playground that you’ll want to visit.
