Easy Triple Chocolate Brownies with Marshmallows Recipe

Easy Triple Chocolate Brownies with Marshmallows RecipeLast month I needed to whip up something quickly for my granddaughter to take to her Girl Scout’s meeting. The parents take turn bringing in finger-foods and beverages for the girls to enjoy at each meeting. My daughter was working OT and had forgot that it was her turn. Hence, the last minute notice for Grandma to fill-in.

This is what I call an EASY cheater recipe. I used a box of Duncan Hines Brownie Mix that I had sitting in my pantry. You’ll want to mix up the batter according to the box instructions. Then…I tossed in a few goodies that I knew the girls would love. I added a 1/4 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and a 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips. Just stir them into the brownie batter. Finally, I tossed in a 1/4 cup of dehydrated marshmallows. These are the type you find packaged for you to add to hot cocoa. Stir up the batter again.

I used a non-stick 9″ by 9″ baking pan that I lightly sprayed with non-stick baking spray. I then placed it into a 350 degrees F oven and baked according to the box instructions. If you like the brownies a little gooey and less cake-like…remove them 2 minutes early from the oven. That’s what I did and they turned out perfectly. Let them cool and then cut them into squares. Store in an airtight container.
