My Little WimmelBook are the perfect introduction to books for a young child. My nephew is almost 3 years old and loves them. They’re board books so they will hold up to the wear and tear a young child will put them through. They’re colorful books that let kid’s be the storyteller. They’re one of my favorite line of toddler-aged books!

One of the things I really like about this book is that there is no story, no wordage on the pages. Each page is jam-packed with colorful illustrations depicting scenes from a zoo. This allows a child to point to various objects on the page, to ask questions and to come up with their own unique story every time they open up the book.
This particular book is great for teaching a child all about the various animals they would see at a zoo, people who are visiting or working at the zoo and their surroundings. You’ll see all different nationalities of people featured in the book, so it will appeal to every child & family. I think it would be great to help teach early math skills by having the child count how many monkeys there are…how many giraffees they see and so forth. It can be used several different ways.
