Got a pantry full of spices? If so, there’s no need to go out and purchase hamburger seasoning. I like to whip up my own when it comes to seasoning burgers. I personally think the amounts called for in the recipe are perfect, but you can adjust them to suit your own taste buds.
Homemade Hamburger Seasoning Recipe
1 Tbsp. ground paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. Colman’s Ground Mustard
Place all of the ingredients in a little bowl or in a little plastic zipper closure baggie. Stir or shake-it-up to combine them all together. Sprinkle the seasoning on both sides of a pre-made burger pattie or mix the seasoning in with your ground beef when making your own patties (which is what I prefer to do).
You can pan-fry the burgers on the stove-top or toss the hamburgers onto a pre-heated barbecue grill.
