For this review my family received 2 bags of cookies in the following flavors:
* The Matinee – Oatmeal cookies with raisins and chocolate covered raisins.
* Peanut Butter Bomb – Peanut butter cookies with peanut butter chips & peanut butter candies.
My family loves snacking on cookies, especially my two kids. When it comes to cookies they have to be soft and flavorful. They will NOT eat them if they’re hard or taste like cardboard. I can’t say that I blame them. The first thing you’ll notice about Isabella’s Cookies is that they’re soft and they look just like the ones you might of pulled out of your oven at home.
Each one is generously sized. I find that 1-2 of them totally satisfy my snack craving. Perfect all on their own or feel free to dunk them in a glass of milk or cup of coffee. I think packing 1-2 of them in your lunch bag or your child’s lunchbox would be great too.
They’re gourmet cookies like the kind you would find if you walked into a gourmet cookie shop or bakery. One of the things we like about them is that they’re NOT overloaded with the extra goodies (like chocolate, raisins, candies, etc.) We want to taste the base cookie with the add-ins as a compliment. A lot of gourmet places over-do-it with the add-ins to the point you can’t taste the cookie base! In my honest opinion, these have the perfect ratio allowing you to enjoy both.
