Awesome Flea Market Find – Sand Dollars

Frugal Finds and Hot DealsMy husband and I went to the Flea Market last weekend. We try to go 3-4 times throughout the summer. It’s a 25 minute drive from our home but is one of the largest Flea Markets in Central Pennsylvania. It’s held at William’s Grove. When we go to the flea market we always take along a few things:

Reusable Shopping Totes
Wheelable Shopping Cart
Sunscreen
Bug Spray
Bottles of Water
Change Purse with Plenty of Change
Cash (low bills ones and fives)

This is a large and often crowded venue….so we do indeed plan ahead!

On this particular trip to the Flea Market we found several bargain deals!

Bowl Full of Genuine Sand Dollars

1. A large glass footed bowl filled with 50+ genuine medium and large sized sand dollars for $10.00 (I’ll use them for various craft projects.)

2. A 3-piece set of light-up outdoor snowman to add to our Christmas decorations. Hubby paid $5.00

3. Two ceramic houseplant pots for .25 cents each.

4. Two Star Wars Model Building Kits (new) for grandson for Christmas. ($1.00 each)

5. Thanksgiving Turkey Serving Platter for $1.00.

6. Beef Jerky Sticks from the on-site meat market.

Overall…it was a great morning picking up some new bargains! I think I’m going to paint the sand dollars and turn them into Christmas Tree ornaments for family and friends this year. What a deal that was! When we’re down at the beach almost all of the stores down there sell them (that size) for $4.00 to $8.00 a piece!
