I suffer with a lot of upper back, shoulder and neck pain. The pain can be stabbing and radiate from one area to another. Over the past few years I’ve tried heat therapy and massage. They help but I needed something more…especially for those times when I’m out and about.

Two months ago I purchased the Tommie Copper Shoulder Support Bra with Zipper as recommended to me by a friend. First…this bra is a little pricey and costs more than a typical bra. However…this isn’t a typical bra! This bra gives your shoulders and upper back support and helps to correct your posture. All of those things can help give you pain relief. In my book…pain relief is priceless.
It’s available in a few different colors. I selected the NUDE color so that I can wear it with everything in my wardrobe. The shoulder support bra is easy to get on thanks to that front zipper closure. Once you have it zipped up, make sure the zipper goes underneath the “tab” so that it’s invisible underneath your clothing.
There’s no underwire with this bra. It features wide shoulder straps which help to give you uplife and support. The shoulder straps don’t dig into you if you buy the proper size. I stuck with my normal size and purchased a size Large. It should fit you a little snug but not tight. You need the snug fit so that it helps to pull your shoulders back and to give you the correct posture that you need. Follow the size chart to get the correct fit.
One of the nice things about this bra is that there isn’t any lace, bows, ribbons or whatever. I can wear a snug-fitting t-shirt and get no bumps underneath it. It gives me that smooth finish that I’m always looking for. There’s no double-bubble or spillage out of the top or via the sides. You get great coverage for sure!
Now I do admit…I don’t wear it every day. I wear it a few times a week when I’m going to be up on my feet for long periods of time. I find that while I’m wearing it that the pain in my upper back, neck and shoulders is decreased and that my posture looks better. Without the bra I seem to hunch forward as many of us do that are in our golden years. I wish they had posture support bras when I was younger…perhaps I could of “warded off” this terrible posture that I now have.
You can purchase the Tommie Copper Shoulder Support Bra with Zipper from various online and offline retailers across the nation including from Amazon. If you have Amazon Prime, it should ship for free. Like I said, it does cost more than a regular bra but in my honest opinion…that cost is worth the extra pain relief that I get while wearing it.
