Did you have any graduation ceremonies or parties to attend this year? I went to 2 of them. One thing that really surprised me is how OUT parents go to throw these parties. Wowza…both of the ones I attended had to cost the parents at least $1,000 to just host it (at minimum). There were a ton of people at each one, so I know the graduate made out quite well with money and gifts.
I do believe in having a party but I don’t believe it inviting hundreds of people. It’s not a wedding and shouldn’t cost like one either. What are your thoughts on this?
