Keeping Cool with a Wireless Neck Fan

Summer is here and the temperatures have been rising. We’ve been consistently hitting 85 degrees F or higher for the past few weeks. In the northeast we deal with hot temperatures and humidity which makes it feel even hotter. You can walk out your front door and within 5 minutes breakout in a sweat. At times the heat is so uncomfortable that you feel like you can’t breathe nor move. Keeping hydrated and cool is a MUST during this time of the year.

My wife and I try to spend a lot of time outdoors gardening, doing yard work, hiking, camping, walking the beach and so forth. We need to keep “cool” while enjoying time outside during the summertime. This year we invested in 2 inexpensive Wireless Neck Fans which are also rechargeable! We’ve been using them for the past 2 1/2 weeks and they’ve made a big difference in keeping us more comfortable while being outside.

Wireless Portable Neck Fan

We purchased the HomeSmart Wireless Neck Fans but many different companies make them. The ones that we have are rechargeable via a USB cord. Look for one like that so that you’re not constantly purchasing batteries! It has 3 fan speeds (low, medium and high) so we can adjust it to our individual needs. There’s an indicator light…blue light means that it’s in use and the red light means it’s charging.

There’s a 1-button easy operation. Press it 1 time to turn it on with the low speed. Press it twice for medium, three times for high and press it a fourth time to turn it off. I love that there’s nothing complicated about it. No wasting your time reading a user’s manual. Easy, peasy!

It’s very light-weight…you barely know it’s hanging around the back of your neck. It’s adjustable so it should work for just about everyone. You bend it to fit around your neck to get that custom fit. On each side is a little fan which blows the air onto the side and front of your neck & lower facial area. Amazing how that air can cool you down and keep you cool.

Last week I mowed our front and back yards while wearing it. The temperature outside was 87 degrees F with the sun beating down on you. The wireless neck fan made all of the difference for me. I kept a bottle of water beside me on the riding lawn mower, wore the neck fan and got our grass cut in record time. I didn’t need to stop for any “cool breaks” which was nice.

Where can you buy a Wireless Neck Fan? You can buy them from various retailers across the nation including Amazon. Look for one that is rechargeable and completely wireless with easy operation. I think they would make a great PRACTICAL gift for those who enjoy time outside during the summertime.
