Fun Frugal Finds – Coastal Seashell Beach Pottery

June 26, 2024 by Classystaff

Frugal Finds and Hot DealsLast month we headed across the river to visit one of the largest Flea Market’s in our state. We enjoy going to the Flea Market a few times every year. It’s always fun to see what kind of treasures that you can find. When visiting a Flea Market you always want to dress appropriately for the current weather conditions, wear comfortable walking shoes, bring along cash and a reusable shopping bag. I also recommend you wear sunscreen and bring along a bottle of water.

On this particular visit to the Flea Market I purchased a few things. From one vendor I purchased 4 wooden curtain rods. All 4 were brand new. I got them for a bargain price of $5.00 for all four of them! Wowza, they would of cost me about $75 at retail. What a deal!

Next, I love anything beach and coastal. I found an older pottery piece by FRATELLI FANCIULLACCI Bitossi. It’s imported from Italy. It’s made out of ceramic and features a drip glaze. Not fond of the brown color but I do love that seashell shape! I decorate in a coastal them with light colors so it does stick out like a sore thumb. I decided to place the dish in our Florida Sunroom and I use it as a hard candy dish out there.

The bottom is signed and numbered. I’m not a collector so I really don’t know anything about it…other than I like the unique seashell shape. I’m considering turning it into a succulent planter. Who knows what I’ll eventually do with it. I bought it for $3.00 and feel that was a great deal!

Have you visited a Flea Market, Antique Store or Yard Sale lately? If so, did you find any awesome deals? Tell us all about it using our blog’s comment form below.
