DynaTrap Mosquito and Flying Insect Outdoor Killer Trap

DynaTrap Mosquito and Flying Insect Outdoor Killer TrapLast summer we had a big problem in our area with mosquitos, house flies, beetles and other flying insects. It had gotten to the point that every time we went outside we were getting bitten up. Taking out the trash…mosquito bites. Walking a short distance to get into our swimming pool…more bites. We couldn’t sit outside on our back deck at all. I had tried citronella candles, hanging bug tapes, other type’s of traps and nothing was working.

After reading some reviews online I decided to buy 2 of the DynaTrap Mosquito and Flying Insect Outdoor Killer Traps. I got the 1/2 acre size. You can also purchase the full acre size. They run on electricity. I decided to hang one up in our front yard and one in our backyard.

These traps catch and kill mosquitos, wasps, bees, beetles, house flies, gnats, stink bugs, and other flying insects. Let’s face it…no one likes getting bit or stung up! Along with the itching & pain…you can get various diseases & infections from bug bites! It was time to end the misery.

You’ll want to read the instructions that come along with the unit. You want to hang it so many feet off the ground and so many feet away from where you sit. It’s designed to ATTRACT the flying insects, not deter them. I has a quiet running fan inside it…which pulls them into the unit and traps them. They then die! There’s a UV Light that attracts them into the unit and trust me…they flock to it!

There’s a mesh covered bottom area (a basket) where all of the insects are trapped in and die in. You’ll want to take that over to your garbage can and empty it out frequently. I empty ours 2-3 times a week. Don’t empty it into the yard because the dead bugs can attract more bugs. Make sure you empty it into an enclosed trash can.

As I previously stated it runs on a small amount of electricity. No batteries to buy and replace. You turn it on and leave it on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Let it do its job continually. After just 1 night you’ll see a bunch of dead bugs inside the basket. That’s how you know it’s working. After just a couple of days we REALLY noticed a big difference. We were finally able to spend time outdoors without getting bit up!

Now…will you never get a bug bite again? Of course you will. Nothing is 100%. However, I can honestly tell you that are bites are few and far between. Before using DynaTrap we were getting nailed by these pests multiple times every time we went outside. We can now enjoy sitting on our deck, sitting around our swimming pool, etc. without being eaten alive by these darn bugs!

Where can you buy one? I purchased the two that we bought from Amazon.com.

One more thing. You can see another unit in my photograph made by a different company. It was cheaper and I decided to try that one too. Hung it up right beside the DynaTrap. Guess what? It didn’t do much at all. I wanted to compare the 2 brands and the DynaTrap won by a long shot!!! It was well worth my purchase!!!

Now that summer is here again…I have both of our DynaTraps hanging outside. We had a rainy spring season and bugs are abundant this year. The DynaTrap is doing a fantastic job at trapping them and killing them. HIGHLY recommend it if you’re sick and tired of being bit up in your own backyard!
