I’m a crafter and beginner artist. I dabble in all kinds of different things. For the past year I’ve been painting simple designs on smooth river rocks and large seashells. I often run out of ideas, so I use adult coloring books, especially doodling and pattern books for inspirtation. I’ll color-in the page in the book and then replicate that image onto another surface like the river rock or clam shell. It’s a great way to learn, practice and “hone” your artistic skills.
Even though these books state “adult coloring” they’re perfect for teenagers too. My 15 year old granddaughter and my 75 year old mother love them too!
