Cutex Strength Shield Nail Polish Remover – Best for Removing Glitter and Gels

April 11, 2024 by Shelly

Every week I like to sit down for some ME time and paint my nails. In my honest opinion…millions of women waste MONEY by visiting nail salons to get acrylic nails. I’m just not one of them! I use products that allow me to grow healthy and strong “natural” nails at home. There are a lot of great products on the market to help with that and it only takes 15 minutes of week to get beautiful natural nails at home. Enough said on that.

Cutex Strength Shield Nail Polish Remover

I like to wear dark colors on my nails and often times that includes polishes with glitter. Almost all of the nail polishes that I use are gels. That means that getting that old color off can be time consuming and hard. Over the years I’ve tried about 8 different brands of nail polish removers and keep coming back to my favorite one made by Cutex. It’s their Strength Shield.

Cutex Strength Shield Nail Polish Remover is the best at removing dark colors, gels, glitters, etc. I can typically get all of the color off my nails in less than 7-8 minutes using this nail polish remover. There’s no soaking and hard scrubbing. I juse use a cotton pad dipped into the polish remover and get to work. It’s not a time consuming process when you use the RIGHT products!!!

Another thing I like about this product is that it doesn’t irritate the skin and cuticles around my nails. Furthermore, my nails don’t get all dried out and brittle from using it. There are times that I’ll take all of the color off and then just swipe 2 coats of clear top coat on the top and they still look nice. Why? Because that remover gets all of the color off…no staining or yellowing left behind. It’s my favorite and a must-have in my beauty bag.
