Twice a month my wife and I do something for Date Night. We will go out to dinner, go to a wine tasting, see a movie, take a walk in the park, go hiking, to a museum or whatever. We’ve set aside 2 nights every month for the past 35 years. It’s been something important to us to always make alone time for the two of us.
One of my favorite chain restaurants is Red Robin. I’m a burger man and I can order a slew of different burgers at Red Robin. In addition to their fantastic selection of burgers they have great appetizers too. To avoid the crowds we typically go for an early dinner on the weekend around 3pm.
On this particular date night I had something extra planned for the wife. She has been wanting to go to a local spa for self care time and I surprised her with a gift card as an extra treat. No special holiday or anything like that. Just a surprise extra treat. A happy wife makes for a happy husband!
