You can recycle and upcycle all kinds of items made out of paper! They’re the perfect FREE medium to decoupage onto your painted rocks and seashells. You can get really creative by accenting those paper images with faux gemstones, ribbons, mini buttons, charms, beads, glitter and other accents. I recommend that when you attach accents that you use Gorilla Glue because hot glue doesn’t give you a permanent bond.

When working with paper products you will need 1-3 coats of clear Mod Podge depending on the thickness of the paper that you’re working with. It’s best applied using a foam brush. Allow for 30-45 minutes of drying time between coats. Let the Mod Podge to cure for several days so that you get the proper seal.
