It’s just a jump to the left… and a step to the right… to grab a copy of University Games’ new Rocky Horror Show Board Game. The experiential new party game hit store shelves this year in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the cult-classic show. I remember watching the show dozens of times during my late teen years and early twenties. A favorite for sure!

This board game is for 2-6 players age 12 years and up. Players choose a favorite character and try to escape the castle to win the game. Along the way, you will rock to song lyrics, hear familiar lines, and perform the Time Warp (again) as you build alliances and navigate the lab.
Contents: Game Board, 6 Character Pieces, 6 Character Cards, 30 Lips, 50 Rocky Horror Show Cards, 30 Lab Cards, 6 Time Warp Cards, 3 Game Cards for Acts 1, 2 and 3, 6-Piece Rocky Puzzle, Game Die and Instructions.
Game Objective: Be the first player in the game to build Rocky in the Lab and then escape the Castle to win!
We sat down to play this last weekend with 2 adult friends. Those who were playing were ages 35-40 years in age. This game is for teenagers (I would say later teen years) through adults. My husband and I are pretty familiar with the Rocky Horror Show and loved the game. It brought back a lot of memories! Our 2 friends weren’t as familiar but still enjoyed the game. Matter of fact, they’re going to stream the show. The reason that I mention that is…even if you’re not familiar with the show (and the Rocky Horror craze), you’ll still enjoy playing this game!
Where to Buy: You can pick the game up from various retailers across the nation and from Amazon.
