Easy and Odor-Free Composting with the Bamboozle Compost Bin

November 8, 2023 by Shelly

Bamboozle Compost BinWe’ve been gardening in our backyard for the past 13 years. We’re by no means expert gardeners! With that said, over the years we’ve learned quite a few important things. For example, every vegetable, fruit or plant that you grow has specific soil requirements. If one of those requirements are off then your entire gardening experience can be ruined.

Composting organic materials can help boost the health of your soil. Things like coffee grounds, tea grounds, leftover fruits and vegetables, eggshells, etc. are all great items to add to your soil. To get into composting you need a practical but yet stylish Compost Bin to sit on your kitchen counter. If it’s in front of your face (like beside the kitchen sink) you’re more apt to use it!

Bamboozle Compost Bin

Let me introduce you to the Bamboozle Compost Bin that we’ve been using for the past month. It’s the nicest compost bin that we’ve ever used!  The biodegradable compost bin looks like ceramic but is made from repurposed bamboo for an impeccable design that completes the look and feel of any kitchen. It’s so attractive that many of my friends and family members thought it was an elegant ice bucket!

Dimensions: 8” x 6.25” x 9”

I love the tall and slender design because it has a small footprint on my counter-top.

You don’t have to worry about foul odors coming from your compost bin thanks to the biodegradable hemp filter in the lid. I’ve had mine sitting on my counter for a month and smelled NOTHING coming from it. The hemp filter should be replaced every 2 months. You can buy replacement filters directly from the company and they’re affordable!

Let’s talk about keeping it clean. In between uses it can be placed into your dishwasher for easy clean-up. Just don’t place the lid with the filter inside the dishwasher. Pop the filter out first and then place the lid and the bin into the dishwasher. I’ve washed it 2 times and each time it came out sparkling clean.

My husband has our compost pile at the back of our property near our one garden. Once a week or so, I walk down to the pile and dump the bin. It’s light-weight and easy to carry around thanks to the bamboo handle. It only takes me a minute or two to walk down there…dump and go!

We love our new Bamboozle Compost Bin! It’s attractive, functional and gets the job done!
