How many of you go out looking for rainbows after a thunderstorm? I know I do! I love to spot them, especially when I see a double rainbow which is extremely rare. Anyway, We had a big thunder boomer (as my grandson calls them) move through a few weeks ago and afterwards we headed outside to look for a rainbow.
After about 10 minutes had passed we finally spotted one. Sometimes they don’t show up right away and you really have to look for them. The one we saw that afternoon was HUGE and I mean HUGE. Not only was it a big one…but it was extremely colorful too. Very visible up there in the sky. Several neighbors were outside looking at it too.
As you can see in our photograph…there was plenty of blue skies around it. You could see this particular rainbow for miles! Later that night they featured the rainbow on the evening news. It was the talk of the town. Always nice to see something so beautiful coming from nature.
You did find a beautiful rainbow. Sometimes I do go looking for the rainbow, but I cannot always find it.
Wow this is a beautiful rainbow and it really showed up nicely in the picture. I haven’t seen one in a while I look for them too.
