How to Clean a Hair Trimmer and Dry Shaver

I use a hand-held hair trimmer and a dry shaver every week. They’re two of my must-have beauty tools that you’ll always find in my beauty bag. One thing that has always bugged me about them is when they get jammed up with tiny hairs…you know, that stubble hair!!! Last month I came up with my own way on how to clean them.

First…you need to remove all of the tiny hairs and stubble from each device. I found that an old eye brow brush and comb work perfect for that job! Run the soft bristled brush over the trimmer head and shaver blade. It will remove the tiny hairs and any dust balls that may be in them. It only takes a few seconds every week or two to do!

To clean them of germs you can use a household cleaning wipe, a make-up remover wipe, or use a cleaning cloth dipped in warm water. Make sure you wring it out, you don’t want water running into your devices. Both of mine run on batteries, so they’re wire-free. Important to keep them dry and clean. Let them air dry for 2-5 minutes and then put them away. Quick and easy!
