This Chili Lime Popcorn is really easy to make and only requires a handful of ingredients. If you like it with a little bit more heat…increase the chili powder to suit your own taste buds. The recipe is courtesy of Popcorn.org and will make approximately 1 quart.
Chili Lime Popcorn Snack Recipe
1 quart popped popcorn
1 teaspoon nutritional yeast (available in health food stores)
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon ground chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spread popcorn on a baking sheet. Sprinkle yeast powder, lime juice, chili powder and salt over popcorn. Heat about 7 minutes and toss just before serving. Serve warm. If you have any leftovers you’ll want to store them in an airtight container or zipper closure food storage bag.
