For this review I received 2 products to try out for all of you. Before I get started I want to tell you all that I have sensitive skin. Furthermore, my skin has been dry the past few months due to sun exposure and beach life. Summer always dries out my skin!!!

Cap't Coconut Body Balm

The Capt’n Coconut – Coconut Body Balm is honestly the BEST body balm that I’ve ever used. Seriously, the BEST. You massage the body balm all over your body for deep moisturizing and skin repair. It’s excellent for dry skin, sensitive – irritated skin, used as a make-up remover, diaper rash cream, post-shaving balm, scalp moisturizer, etc.

Nourishing and Hydrating Ingredients: Organic coconut oil, vitamin E oil, jojoba oil, vanilla and coconut essential oils.

I’ve been applying the Coconut Body Balm all over my arms, legs and feet twice a day for the past 8 days. I’ve been out in the sun a lot this year (gardening, walking the beach, yard work, hiking, swimming pool, etc) and my skin had become very dry. At times it was itchy from being so dry! I was using all kinds of different body lotions and nothing was fixing the problem. Well, until I started using Capt’n Coconut – Coconut Body Balm! In just 8 days my skin looks 80% better! It looks more moisturized, feels smoothing, appears younger looking and the itching has totally disappeared! Yay!

My husband decided to give it a try too. He has extremely dry knees and elbows (the only areas on his body that get really dry). He started massaging it into those areas twice a day. After a week his skin looked and felt better too. Like me, he was equally impressed with the body balm.

The Coconut Body Balm smells really nice. The fragrance smells like a tropical coconut but it’s light. Nothing over-powering at all. You can definitely layer your favorite fragrances on top with no problem. The balm is soft and creamy. It absorbs quickly into your skin leaving no sticky residue behind. I was able to get dressed immediately after applying it. It’s a really FANTASTIC body balm!

Capt’n Coconut Roll-On Vacation is the second product that I had the opportunity to try. If you’ve been reading this blog for the past 15 years you’ll already know that I suffer with chronic pain from a rare genetic disease called Porphyria. I live with pain 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and have done so for 30+ years. Anyway, this Roll-On Vacation  is a signature oil-based fragrance infused with coconut and vanilla botanicals and 50 MG of CBD to moisturize, relieve pain, and smell divine at the same time.

I’ve been using it on my left wrist and hand when my post-operative nerve pain acts up. I’ve been using it on my temples and the back of my neck when a headache flairs up.
