A friend of mine makes a lot of arts and crafts to sell them at local craft shows and fairs. Her items are always in high demand because 1. She does great work and 2. Because she keeps her prices affordable. None of her crafts are complicated and I always appreciate their simplicity.

Last month she participated in a craft fair and sold 65% of everything she had on display. Way to go A. Nice job! While I was there I snapped a photograph of one of her hot sellers for you to see. They’re easy to make!
They’re wooden wall plaques that she stained with wood stain and/or chalk paints. She roughed them up to give them that aged country look. She decorated the front with wood Scrabble tiles and hearts…spelling out different phrases and sayings. She said you want to use Gorilla Glue, E6000 Adhesive or a glue made specifically for wood. Don’t use a hot glue gun as the tiles eventually fall off.
Her husband cuts, assembles and stains the wood plaques for her. She then gets busy decorating them. Gotta love a crafty husband and wife team.
