Glass Floral Pebbles Refrigerator Magnets

1 Bag Glass Floral Pebbles (We used clear ones)
1 Bottle of Modge Podge
Foam Paint Brush
Scissors
Commercial Grade Craft Magnets
Quick-Drying Tacky Glue
Paper Pictures
Pencil

Paper Pictures – Kid’s can cut out designs from old magazines, books, greeting cards, calendars, pamphlets, wrapping paper, scrapbooking paper, etc.

The floral glass pebble will serve as the template. Use a pencil to trace around the pebble to get the exact size that you need from the desired picture. It will be a circle and fit on the flat portion of the glass pebble. In our 2 examples the kids cut out a picture of a zebra and a giraffe.

Using the foam paint brush add a smooth, light layer of Modge Podge onto the flat portion of the glass pebble. While it’s still wet press the desired image (right side down facing the pebble) onto the pebble. Smooth out any wrinkles or air bubbles. Apply another coat of Modge Podge on top to seal it down into place. Let them dry for 1-3 hours or until the Modge Podge has dried clear and is no longer tacky.

These pebbles are semi-weighty, so you want to use strong magnets on the back. I buy them from Amazon.  Use tacky glue to place the magnet on top of the cut-out photo (the back of the pebble) and let dry for several hours. You can use them to decorate the refrigerator, freezer, gym locker, school locker, metal file cabinet, etc.

I did not know about these glass floral pebbles. You have made another great craft and I shall see if my Dollar Tree has these items.
