Crescent Roll Sloppy Joes are the perfect busy weeknight dinner or a go-to lunch. They’re a huge hit with my kids and husband. A meal that everyone enjoys and super-easy to make! You can make your own homemade beef barbecue or use a can of prepared Manwich. We like our own…but that’s entirely up to you.
You’ll need to have the beef barbecue fully prepared and cooked. (great for leftovers you have sitting around in the fridge). Open up a can of Crescent Rolls and separate the triangles. I like to cover my baking sheet with a non-stick silicone mat. Place each triangle on top. Spoon the beef barbecue on top of the triangle and roll them up like you normally would.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place baking sheet into the oven and bake for 4 minutes. Remove. Use a spatula to flip them over. Place the sheet back into the oven and continue baking for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the dough is lightly brown and done. Don’t skip the flipping process or you’ll end up with a soggy bottom. By flipping them over halfway through the baking process…both sides will be lightly browned with a little crispiness to them.
My family enjoys them served alongside French Fries, Tator Tots, or a few Cheese Sticks. If you have any leftovers…let them cool and place into a container with a lid. Then refrigerate. They’ll keep for 3-4 days refrigerated. Just reheat in the microave for 1-2 minutes and enjoy!
