We’ve been married for almost 37 years and I still enjoy taking my wife out for date nights. We will go out to dinner a few times a month, out to see a movie, go bowling, to the theatre, a music concert, or whatever we feel like doing. It’s important to take out time for one another with no distractions from your daily life.
For this particular date…I planned a few things. I first took her to one of her favorite stores and handed her $100 to buy whatever she wanted. It took her less than 20 minutes to spend that. Women sure do shop fast when they know what they want.
After shopping we went to Texas Roadhouse for steak dinners. We decided to go with the expensive market price steaks. We got to pick out the cuts, thickness and size. They were cooked to perfection as you can see in the photographs. Some of the best steaks that I’ve had in a long time. We had leftovers to take home too.
On the way home we decided to swing by the cemetery to visit the graves of some of our family members. Yes, it was cold out but that didn’t stop us. Always nice to remember them and to pay our respects. We try to get there 3-4 times a year.
