Well, it was a long time coming, but it was well worth the wait for your first overseas holiday from the UK for 4 years. The previous pandemic hit you hard as you had to close your small business. You got back on your feet finding work, before you and your good lady decided to have some fun.
It seemed like a lifetime ago since you last looking to book online. You wanted somewhere special, and boy did you find it. It will certainly not be the last time that you choose your chosen hotel in Patong Phuket. It proved to be an inspired selection for so many reasons.
* Location was the key, and yours was simply brilliant. The paradise island of Phuket in Thailand lived up to all the photos you’d seen and what friends who had previously been had told you about it. Patong, the main tourist town had everything that you could have wished for, including your wonderful hotel.
* Your air-conditioned room was simply stunning, with you pushing the boat out and going for the superior option. Your private balcony overlooked a tropical garden, where you sipped drinks from the mini bar as the sun set. You had a shower and bathtub, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi, plus bathrobes and slippers, which made you feel extra special before climbing into the big comfortable bed. You relaxed one evening and enjoyed watching one of the latest movies.
* The hotel had everything you required to enjoy the beautiful local food, including plenty caught from the beautiful Andaman Sea a couple of minutes from where you stayed. There was also excellent Indian and international cuisine, including a wonderful coffee house for breakfast and a lounge to enjoy cocktails. All were tastefully decorated Thai style and provided great service, with the afternoon tea a favourite with the wife when you partook. She also thoroughly enjoyed being pampered with some spa treatment.
* You rolled back the years, and even some fat by indulging in the fitness centre, with the whole experience and environment being conducive to feeling good. You thoroughly enjoyed the tours and excursions that you went on as you made sure that you got the most from your stay. Going to visit the Big Buddha was a wonderful experience.
* The perfect location of your hotel allowed you to be by the sea within minutes, enjoying the golden sands of Patong Beach, where plenty of local culture was on display. The weather was exactly what you were looking for, enabling you to soak up the rays, while enjoying a foot and leg massage by the ocean.
* More previous years were revisited as you both headed to the world-famous Bangla Road, a short walk or tuk tuk ride away, where you lapped up the nightlife and entertainment, feeling like a pair of teenagers all over again.
You will not be strangers as you both cannot wait to revisit and enjoy the fantastic facilities, lovely room and all that the surrounding area has to offer.
These do sound like great reasons to choose a hotel in Patong. I would really enjoy visiting Thailand.
