Those of you who live in parts of the country that get snow, ice, sleet, freezing rain, etc. please be careful this year! Just in the past month I’ve known of 6 different people that have fallen outside and have gotten hurt. Often times we don’t see the ice underneath the slush, etc. Plus, we always seem to be in a hurry with our eyes focused on something else. When outside you need to have your full attention on your walking…what’s underneath your feet and ahead of you. Walk slow, take your time!!! No distracted walking when the weather conditions are terrible.

The quote reminds me to appreciate this time of year with family and friends. I admit though, it is difficult for me to not dream of spring.
Senior here we had -1 on Christmas Eve and the day before rain so we had ice. Rode with my niece and she helped me to the car. When we switched to a 4 wheel drive vehicle my niece and great nephew held on to me. Same thing out of the car to the house. I would not have gone out with out them to keep me upright
Our weather has been up to the mid 50’s and down to the 20’s. It keeps going up and down
Yes, there seems to be more ice this year. It can be dangerous. I don’t agree with today’s quote. Winter can have a lot of memories.
Yes, please be careful. It is dangerous out there and now is not the time you want to be in the emergency room or hospitalized.
