I don’t know about all of you…but I’m sick and tired of hand sanitizing gels that are loaded with chemicals and harsh on the skin. They leave my skin red, irritated, and overly-dry. I absolutely hate them and so do my kids. They would rather have dirty hands than deal with hand sanitizer gels. I can’t say that I blame them.

Ten days ago we found a better alternative and let me tell you…my entire family loves using them! They’re individually packaged cleansing towelettes made by Handzies. They’re free of alcohol, triclosan, BZK, perfumes, dyes, and parabens. That’s right…they don’t use any of the nasty stuff! Plus, they’re dermatologist tested.
Each towelette measures 7″ by 6″ in size so you get really nice coverage when using them. The Handzies proprietary formula of castille (olive oil based) soap, water and essential oils gives you a squeaky clean feeling, like washing up at the sink with no sticky residue or chemical smells.
To Use: Tear open packet. Remove and unfold towelette. Wipe until clean. Dispose of properly, do not flush.
Handzies are perfect for when you’re out camping, hiking, traveling, playing at the park, doing yard work in the backyard, tossed into your lunch box, kept in your school/work locker, in the gym bag, diaper bag, handbag, briefcase, in the glove box of the car and so forth! In other words…every where you go!
My son packs a lunch every day for school and has been using one daily before he eats his lunch. It’s important (especially now) that kids touch food with CLEAN hands!!! My 13 1/2 year old daughter has a few in our backpack which she uses as needed throughout her day. I have a few tucked into my desk drawer at work and in my handbag for when we’re on-the-go. My husband likes using them when he’s out in the garage or in the backyard doing work. He doesn’t have time to run in and out of the house constantly to wash his hands.
We love that there’s no stinky odors with using them. NONE. They’re moist but not overly sopping wet. A very generous sized towelette that is great for cleaning both hands, the wrists and if needed a touch-up on the face (messy kid’s who eat), etc. One of the best things is that they don’t irritate your skin or dry it out like alcohol-based products do. These cleansing towelettes are a BIG WINNER in my book!

These do sound like a great alternative to use the sanitizing gels or wipes. I always have to treat my hands because the skin is so dry and cracked.
